The 16th district of Paris is one of the 20 districts (administrative districts) of Paris, the capital city of France. Situated on
the right bank of the River Seine, this district – which includes the mainly residential districts of Auteuil and Passy – is home to a large number of diplomatic embassies and is also the location of the famous Avenue Foch, the widest street in Paris. The 16th district hosts the sport venues of the Parc des Princes, which is the stadium of Paris SG football club; the tennis French Open site of Roland-Garros; and Stade Jean-Bouin, home to the Stade Français rugby union club. The Bois de Boulogne is also located in this district.
