Paris is divided into 20 areas, called “arrondissements” that snail out from the centre. The middle arrondissement is number one. We are located in arrondissement two, though half of our street is in arrondissement one. We are above the river Seine, right in the middle of Paris. Local areas inside arrondissements are called “quartiers”, literally meaning segments. We are in the Opera quartier, next to the Louvre quartier.

Buy a carnet of ten tickets for ten euros, one ticket as long as you are underground! Our nearest metro stations are: Quatre Septembre, Opera, Pyramides, Richelieu Drouot and RER AUBER.

How to reach us by car :
Our quiet little street is nearly parallel to the avenue de l’Opera, they join together at the bottom end nearest the Louvre. It is one-way from the Louvre to the Opera. Drop off your bags and head for one of the car-parks, “Bourse” is the nearest but there are others just five minutes away by foot.

Take the taxi directly from the train station
Average fare ride is 10 € and trip lasts about 15 minutes.

From TRAIN STATION GARE DE LYON and AUSTERLITZ
Take a taxi directly from the train station, cost approx 12 euros and lasts about 20 minutes.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT :

From TRAIN STATION GARE DU NORD
Take metro line 4 or 5 down to the Gare de l’Est. Then change to line 7 to Pyramides. Exit avenue de l’Opera. Trip lasts 20 minutes.

From TRAIN STATION GARE DE L’EST
Take line 7 to Pyramides. Exit avenue de l’Opera.Trip lasts 15 minutes.
From GARE DE LYON
Take line 14 to Pyramides. Exit avenue de l’Opera. Trip lasts 10 minutes.

Take a taxi directly from the airport taxi stand.
Average fare ride is 45 € and trip lasts about 45 minutes.

From ORLY Airport
Take the taxi directly from the airport.
Average fare ride is 30 € and trip lasts about 30 minutes.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT :

From ROISSY-CHARLES DE GAULLE Airport :
The “ROISSYBUS” leaves every fifteen minutes, costs 9 euros per person and takes one hour to get to the Opera House – a seven-minute walk from our hotel.

From ORLY Airport :
The AIR FRANCE BUS takes 35 minutes to get to The Invalides. Then take metro line 8 to Opera.
